Interactive Tree Charts and Reports

A range of Family Tree Charts and Reports can be generated with parameters selected by the user. Create a pedigree chart showing your Aspin-Tomlinson ancestors, or the descendant chart of an ancestor to display you and your immediate family in their positions on the tree. Alternatively, request a diagram of the relationship between any two family members past or present, or one of the many family reports.

Individual Profiles

There are profiles of many of the family ancestors summarising all of the known details of their lives such as spouses and children, profession or trade, geographical location, housing, and social environment. Discover which of our ancestors was a publican, and which was a teacher. There’s even the head gardener at People’s Park, Halifax, and a Town Councillor! Profiles of other family members are being added from time to time.

No family history would be complete without details of the geographical origins of family names, or information about the historical and more recent movements of individuals for reasons of work or marriage. This section uses maps to plot the presence of Aspin’s, Tomlinson’s, and their derivatives over time.

Evidence Section

This section gives details of how we know what we know about our Aspin-Tomlinson ancestors, and includes images of some of the historical documents and other artefacts that have been discovered during this family research.

Calendar of Birthdays and Anniversaries

Check the online calendar for details of birthdays, or the anniversaries of marriages and deaths for past and present family members. You can select to see events that occur ‘on this day’ or in the current month. You can even take a sneak at the details of similar dates in forthcoming months.  To access these features enter your login details in the right hand panel.
